More and more countries demand compliance of packaging lumber with the international ISPM 15 standard to ensure pest-free lumber import. If packaging lumber does not meet ISPM 15 requirements, it may be detained at the border, returned to its place of origin, or get destroyed by local authorities.
Our computer control system provides fully automated schedules that comply with ISPM 15 regulations for heat treatment, based on the actual lumber core temperature and kiln temperature.
Relevant certificates are automatically generated after completion of the heat treatment process. Hildebrand pallet dryers may be designed for a combination of drying and heat treatment as well.
